Kate’s Kitchen Catering Ltd are super proud to have achieved Food for Life Served Here Gold certification in July this year, for our Corporate Menus, from the Soil Association for serving healthy and sustainable meals at Unit 11, Windmill Farm Business Centre, Bristol.
Food for Life Served Here certification verifies the food on the plate, to support caterers to demonstrate their commitment to climate, nature, and health through the food purchased and served.
Food for Life Served Here certified meals are freshly prepared by trained chefs. All ingredients are free from additives, artificial trans fats and GM ingredients. The meat served can be traced back to the farm and meets or exceeds UK animal welfare standards, eggs are free range, fish is sustainable, and menus make the most of seasonal ingredients. All ofwhich reduces the environmental impact of menus.
Kate’s Kitchen are so proud to have achieved this certification as demonstrates all the hard work and efforts we put into our menus to provide sustainable, ethical and local ingredients in our Corporate lunch Menus. We use all organic cream, milk and fruit on our corporate lunches and the flour and sugar to make our cakes are also organic. All our food is made from scratch, on site by highly trained chefs. We serve approximately 100 meals per day using local and ethical ingredients. We champion working with local suppliers as shown on our supplier map.
