What is Kate’s Kitchen?
It’s a new daytime cafe in a glass pavilion adjacent to the Spielman Centre at Arnos Vale cemetery.
Who’s behind it?
Kate’s Kitchen was set up as a catering company in 2007 by Bristol chef Kate Ploughman, who studied Hospitality Management at Bath College and the University of Gloucestershire.
What’s the ethos?
It’s all about supporting local independent businesses and making good quality, healthy food on the premises from seasonal ingredients. All dietary requirements are catered for, all the meat is free-range and locally sourced, and all the milk is organic.
